My Album titled “You're The One For Me” is divided into two parts. The initial five tracks are for your listening pleasure with meaningful heartfelt lyrics supported with musical notes that like each other. The first half characteristics of the album features slow to mid-temple grooves with messaging centered around sentiments, about love, and feelings. This new album “You're The One For Me” starts with a message song about loss, that most of us have experienced. Track (1) “You Mean So Much To Me” , takes us on an emotional thought-provoking journey down memory lane. Track (2) “Follow Your Heart' brings life's reality in making crucial life changing decisions from the heart, and how difficult that can be. Afterwards, Track (3) ”Let's Get Away" lightens things up a little as one can imagine getting away with their significant other from all the noise associated with challenges of life. Track (4) “Time Will Tell” is both a question and answer combined; as we hear all the words spoken, with a clear understanding that with love, and emotions, time is the truth teller. Track (5) “The Presence of You” is about love and admiration one has for another, describing how proximity of being close creates a beautiful loving aura.
This is where tempos start to move-up. Track (6) “We're In This Love Together” is an exceptional cover of the Al Jarreau classic in Sargent Tucker's own signature style. Track (7) is the album's title track “You're The One For Me” makes you feel like putting on your dancing shoes. The up-temple grooves continues with the album's first single release track (8) U…Can't Text Love Away (Radio Mix) has already charted (#1) on Urban Influencer R&B Radio. It's a funky hypnotic groove, with charming lyrics that makes you want to keep on your dancing shoes. Track (9) “Ain't That Peculiar” is a Marvin Gaye classic Sargent Tucker was inspired to cover. This occured after a telephone call with Anna Gaye's, his former wife saying, “you did Marvin good”. This track brings the album to an end (10) “One Thing Leads To Another” continues the dance mission; it's unquestionably the funkiest track on the album.
